Hello,

I'm Alyson Pedlow, Moving Specialist and the founder of Home Matters of VA, Inc. 
I have called Richmond, Virginia my home for over 30 years and graduated from Monacan High School and James Madison University.

My business, Home Matters of VA, brings me great joy. Helping people has always been a part of who I am.  When my grandmother was looking for a retirement community in which to live, my eyes were opened to many active and beautiful places in Richmond.  I enjoyed visiting with her and talking with her new friends.  I realized then that seniors hold a special place in my heart and that I get such great reward being around them.

Managing senior transition moves allows my passions to be used daily.  From my love for helping seniors, along with event planning (I have done a few reunions and parties in my time), Home Matters of VA is the perfect fit for me!

I, personally, work directly with the seniors and their families through the move process.  I will be there every step of the way holding their hand, reassuring, and comforting them through their transition.
